Forthcoming meetings – Mid Essex - Chelmsford From
February 2025 the format of the monthly meetings
is changing! We will be holding monthly informal social
gatherings, in a corner of the bar at the Globe Pub, Rainsford Road,
Chelmsford CM1 2QJ (close
to our previous venue and opposite the Esso garage). From the main entrance to the pub, turn
right and you should find us! There is no admission charge and non-members are
welcome, but the pub will expect you to buy a drink or two. Food is also available – check on serving
times when you arrive. It is a Greene
King pub. The pub has its own car park, but you must
register your car at the terminal on the bar on arrival, otherwise a
penalty charge will apply. Dates so far are: Thursday February 13, 2025, starting at 1900 Thursday March 20, 2025, starting at 1430 Thursday April 17, 2025, starting at 1900 Please note the March and April dates are one
week later than announced in the January Essex Bus Magazine, to avoid
a clash with the Omnibus Society in London. We will also
hold our AGM on Saturday April 12, 2025, 1400 for 1430 but at
our previous venue, the
Quaker Meeting House, Rainsford Road, Chelmsford, CM1
2QL. The AGM is open to members only. Return
